Duties:

• Safety operate overhead crane and forklifts
• Responsible for cleaning and preparation of surfaces to be painted

In this position you will layout, position, align and fit together fabricated parts of mild steel according to layout, work orders, blueprints and sketches in preparation for welding.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering drawing reading skills is a must
• Accurately measures withing specified tolerances

Required Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of fitter experience
• Ability to fit and tack weld sub-assemblies
• Serves as a team member

Design equipment according to job specifications. Travel to plant sites and measure existing equipment and make drawings of modifications and improvements for new equipment. Make design changes to equipment to improve quality and reduce manufacturing costs. Work with fabrication shop to ensure proper construction and make changes as needed. Inspect equipment before shipping to make sure construction is complete and satisfactory. 

Education: 4 year degree. Minimum of 6 plus years in asphalt plant equipment manufacturing or other heavy machinery required. CAD experience with SolidWorks required.

 Structural steel fabrication shop looking for full-time qualified plate and structural steel "layout" person.

-Must be able to read and interpret Auto-CAD and Solidworks blueprints.

-Work with engineers and shop management.

-Must be knowledgeable of standard "trade" math. (geometry)

-Able to calculate degrees to arc lengths.

-Accurate reading of tape measure.

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

-Need basic knowledge of structural steel materials.

-Must be detailed oriented.

-Need to have organizational skills.

-Able to maintain work flow.

-Minimum 5 years experience in fabrication.

-Forklift operation is a must.

-Must be able to use precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulis press, chop saw, band saw, push and pull broaches and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.

Education and Experience

-High school diploma or graudated from a certified technical school

-Minimum 7 years experience as a manual machinist.

Duties:

-Movement of parts and equipment within the shop area as directed by supervisors

-Light metal working (deburring, grinding, sanding, material prep and finishing, etc)

-Perform all other duties as assigned

-Quick comprehension, adaptability and willingness to learn

-This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day

Position Summary

To receive, stock count, pick, load product entering and leaving warehouse. Operate moving machinery, including forklifts, shrink wrapper, etc in a warehouse. Deliver and pick up parts on a local delivery route.

Essential Functions

• Quickly, accurately and efficiently prepare customer shipment orders. Efficiently and safely operate machinery and delivery trucks and trailers.
• Ensure accurate inventory of stored parts.
• Keep work area and warehouse clean by sweeping as needed.
• Pick up and deliver products on a local route in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform outside grounds maintenance.
• Ability to be on feet all day and to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Education

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills required.
• Drug screen and background check required.
